The Silence Within

Sometimes the silence is within you. Not always quiet as I have said, but screaming to become existence. For help. For Love. For Hate. For those lost. For those found. The friend you thought would never leave you. The new friend whose soul you are afraid to touch. Your heart cries for deliverance in the silence of your mind. Tears for the loss you cannot keep silent about any longer. Reaching down into the abyss that you thought would never consume you. Slowly, ever so slowly, you come to the surface as the silence waits for the redemption to come forth and spring into the newness of life. Life everlasting. God is there in the silence of the new day.
