Ingredients:
2 Pie crusts, homemade or store-bought
6 cups peeled and sliced apples, about 6 medium (Or 2 cans apple pie filling) 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Place bottom crust in pie pan and press well against sides
In large bowl, mix the filling ingredients
Top with second crust, folding top crust under edge of bottom crust.
Press edges down with a fork. Make 2-4 small cuts in top of pie to vent
Bake 40-45 minutes
Cool at least 2 hours
