Carol's New York Cheesecake

Carol: Cheesecakes are Uncle Bob's favorite. Aunt Sue was a good cook, she just didn't like to make cheesecakes. So, I made them for home and also at the diner where I was working part time. This one is really simple.

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 cup sugar

3 tbsp melted butter

5 bars of cream cheese, 8 oz each, softened

3 tbsp flour

1 tbsp vanilla extract

8 oz sour cream

4 eggs

Topping of your choice

*Heat oven to 325 degrees.

*Grease 13 x 9 baking dish with margarine.

*Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into baking dish.

*Bake for 15 minutes.

* In large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla until blended.

*Add sour cream and eggs, mixing well after each egg.

*Pour over crust and bake 40 minutes. Let cool and refrigerate.

*Top with your choice of fruit filling and whipped cream.
