Jill says: "I line my baking pans with parchment paper, and I use a small 'ice cream-type' scoop to make the cookies bake evenly.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 sticks of butter, softened
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup milk
2 ½ cups oatmeal
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
Beat both sugars and butter in a large bowl until creamy.
Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Gradually beat in flour.
Stir in oatmeal, chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake 9-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12-13 minutes for crispy cookies.
