I love the writing style of Julie James and her eye-catching book covers. Her novels are sharp and witty with a comedic flair. This book is fast-paced and pairs a couple of FBI agents, with an unfortunate past, together on an undercover assignment. Posing as a couple in a beachfront resort, they put aside most of their differences to stop a group of corrupt politicians.
Julie James has written several books that I wouldn't say are in a series, most have overlapping characters that are familiar from having been minor characters in previous books. Over all, this book is an engaging, sexy read that makes the reader want to read other books she has written. And it is definitely worth your time.
