Traveling Circus by Ingar Rudholm

This book is a great read for both children and adults alike. I have read it several times myself. I have found the endearing and fascinating characters have grown on me almost like family and I find myself reading this in times of stress. And, not surprisingly, it has helped.

The book takes place in Michigan and centers around a young boy trying to get away from his problems. Unfortunately, he is kidnapped and made to become part of a traveling circus, where he is forced to become part of the show. But while he is in captivity, he learns a lot about himself and life, as he makes many friends along the way.

There are some important lessons to be learned in this book and I would highly recommend it for all ages and anyone looking for a great read!
