Vengeful Son is the first in 'The Masterson Files' series, and what can only be referred to as absolutely brilliant! Andrew is a master at creating believable characters with both an edge and with great heart. From chapter to chapter, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
Jonathon Michael Masterson prefers the solitude he finds deep in the woods of Kentucky. He tries to leave his past as a hired killer behind, but seems to keep being drawn back into the ever present drama. As he tries to protect his lifestyle and his girlfriend, he can't turn down the request to help when his friends are in need.
This is an 'edge of your seat' ride that you won't want to end. And if you are like me, you will continue to read the series as fast as Andrew can write them. This is written with great style and enough humor to take the edge off the more harrowing scenes. A definite work of art!
